Thanks Alan and Gordon. That link is to the newer encoders. I've actually found a library of Televue manuals on the OPTcorp website and one of them is about fitting the older encoders to the Gibraltar mount specifically for the Renaissance! Sorted! Many thanks for the advice. What a great site for getting help and advice!
I'm hoping that someone here can help me out with the instruction manual that came with the #stg encoders set for the older style TeleVue Gibraltar mount. The number for the set was SKN-3001. When I searched the televise website for the document all I got was a photo of the encoder set. Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
I use a Casio Mod.No. 4335 4348. This illuminates with a pale blue light at the touch of a button and shows the phase of the moon, its age and the state of the tide! Also gives a rough indication of the temperature. Costs about £20.
