I bought one of these. My first guide scope, and will be my last as well. What a product !!!! I am a newbie to imaging so couldn't make my mind up which way to go. Saw this and jumped at it. I have a GPCam, ASI224mc and a cheap 1.3mp camera off ebay. All come to focus very easily. The unit is rugged, very adjustable and really looks the part. Al in all very satisfied.

Thanks to "The 'Bay" I got gaffa tape, 4 x pwm controllers, 15 pre-wired leds, 14 swg wire and enough nichrome wire to make 25 dew straps - all for £9.96 inc p&p - result me thinks.

Have been on here less than a week and have already had a couple of questions answered in language that I understand. Great group of people so willing to share knowledge and wisdom. I look forward to a long and enjoyable time as an amateur astronomer.

This looks like the thread for me. New to the hobby but own a SW 150PL on EQ3-2 with dual motors. I haven't got a clue what I'm doing or what a lot of the terminology means but I am gonna have a bash anyway. With the advent of digital it is so much easier and cheaper to take frames and delete if no good. So what ever happens it will certainly be an experience !! Clear Skies
