  1. This item is still for sale. If anyone has a sensible offer in mind then I am open to suggestions.
  2. For Sale Sky Watcher 250pds Newtonian. 250Mm Aperture F4.7. Package includes. Scope, Moonlight CR2 Focuser, Focuser Fitting Kit, DC Motor and Controller. Scope was purchased from Tring approx. 2 years ago and has been used in my Observatory. It is in good used condition, a bit dusty but that is to be expected. Both mirrors are free of defects and it holds collimation very well. The Moonlight Focuser, accessories and Losmandy plate were purchased after market. Includes original Sky Watcher focuser as well. These things are absolute light buckets. If buying this gear new current retail is £936.00 Scope 385.00 Focuser 279.00 Fitting Kit 58.00 DC motor 214.00 I am looking for £500. Will come in original packaging. Collection only and cash on collection please.
  3. I bought one of these. My first guide scope, and will be my last as well. What a product !!!! I am a newbie to imaging so couldn't make my mind up which way to go. Saw this and jumped at it. I have a GPCam, ASI224mc and a cheap 1.3mp camera off ebay. All come to focus very easily. The unit is rugged, very adjustable and really looks the part. Al in all very satisfied.
  4. Thanks for the comments and advise guys. I have invested a whole £26 on "T'Bay" and have been able to make:- 1 x 4 channel controller 8 x connecting leads of differing lengths 9 x heater straps again of differing lengths
  5. Hi Alexx, Will arrange to collect them when you get back. Have some family things to sort next couple of days. have a nice time. Graham.
  6. Hi Alexx, I will take both books from you if that's ok. Are you going to the meeting Monday? if so can meet you there otherwise open to suggestions. Graham (new club member)
  7. I know I am a bit of a lightweight but I use one of these - plenty for me at present :-
  8. Hi, Am running v3.0 but have not really used it much. Seems stable enough. I have subscribed but, once again, not yet had chance to test advanced features. I agree, for 10GBP annually it's a no brainer really.
  9. Thanks to "The 'Bay" I got gaffa tape, 4 x pwm controllers, 15 pre-wired leds, 14 swg wire and enough nichrome wire to make 25 dew straps - all for £9.96 inc p&p - result me thinks.
  10. Click on your profile name at the top of the screen. Go to account settings. On the left is a link that says "Signature" and Hey Presto !!
  11. Thanks for the kind comments guys, and the advice. I know I do not have the optimal Astrophotography setup and I still have a lot to learn but am determined to do the best with what I have. Graham
  12. Well here it is. Am almost too embarassed to put it up but I won't learn anything if I don't I suppose. The original images were captured on a 2MP web cam using SnapCap. The 1000 frame avi was then processed in Registax using best 85%. Finished off in Photoshop. Be gentle with me guys.
