Only just got back mate... the trip home has really knocked the the stuffing out of me. I left the site about 10:40, didnt get back until gone midnight. The main route back was closed for roadworks with utterly useless diversions set up that went nowhere. Had to pull over and resort to the sat nav to get me home via an alternative route.... good practice for night driving anyway.

Cheers Im continuing my cygnus mosaic again tonight, probably wont have time to process it - maybe because its now a 50mp 8 pane mosaic the finished article will be knocking on the door of 100 megapixels.

Well its now pimped up a bit... the inside is now blacker than a miners black bits! (flocked the tube and focuser) with more bits soon to arrive.

A nice coat of yellow paint would make a nice TAK like party dress.

Almost exactly the same here, just 3x5min.... then cloud.

I did a bit of processing on the 10 min sub a small area of the crescent nebula appeared so was pleasedish for my first nebula

Not using CDC Rob, it took me a few sessions to get used to it, mainly navigating with the mouse. Click and drag, really missed that.

Tried CDC, but couldnt get on with the navigation, felt a bit clunky. Stellarium is fine now I have updated the comet list (having a go at c/2014 e2 next week).

13 refused to run on mine, said a missing file so had to revert to 12. Will live with the older one, but finding I do not use it much.

It was midnight before I got it cleared. Had no rods to use, just loads of caustic soda and boiling water (it was the kitchen drain).
