  1. Very nice scope, looking forward to hearing how it goes 🙂
  2. I use this one ISS Transit Finder (transit-finder.com) it allows you to enter your location. Also shows transit path on a map as well
  3. Very nicely imaged and processed, an excellent end result
  4. Seen some interesting images of Venus using a 850 filter, look forward to seeing what you manage
  5. Some very detail there Kon, very tricky imaging Venus and revealing anything other than the phase.
  6. Spot on with your observations Avani, i have captured this area many times over the years. Never had an image i have truly happy with, but that is what keeps me coming back to imaging 🙂
  7. captured on the 26th Feb, Another 1st for myself, Mare Humboldtianum, again helped by favourable libration tilting it into view. C9.25, ASI174MM, 642 Filter, X3 Barlow. Best 10% of a 90 second capture
  8. Captured on the 26th Feb, The crater Endymion. C9.25, ASI174MM, 642 Filter, X3 Barlow. Best 10% of a 90 second capture
  9. captured on the 26th Feb, Hercules, Atlas C9.25, ASI174MM, 642 Filter, X3 Barlow. Best 10% of a 90 second capture
  10. captured on the 26th Feb, the craters, Cyrillus, Theophilus. C9.25, ASI174MM, 642 Filter, X3 Barlow. Best 10% of a 90 second capture
  11. captured on the 26th Feb, the crater Catharina C9.25, ASI174MM, 642 Filter, X3 Barlow. Best 10% of a 90 second capture.
  12. While i was missing the aurora display, in the north behind my house, i was catching a few Lunar targets in some reasonable conditions. All captured on the 26th Feb. I don't think i have ever imaged the crater Boussingault before, it looked really cool with the layers around the rim through the scope. Favourable libration helped i think tilt it in to a decent position. C9.25, ASI174MM, 642 Filter, X3 Barlow. Best 10% of a 90 second capture.
  13. Petavius from the 23rd Feb, not the best conditions unfortunately, but nice details visible. C9.25, ASI174MM, 642 Filter, X3 Barlow. Best 10% of a 90 second capture.
  14. Some super images on this thread, congratulations to everyone who has been privileged to witness it. I like a few others on here, was was otherwise engaged with alternative astro events. Wish I had looked on here or Twitter now 😃, even visible Cambridgeshire
  15. The crater Langrenus ifrom the 21st Feb. Captured with my C9.25, Asi174mm and X3 Barlow. 10,000 frames stacking 20%
  16. The crater Petavius from the from the 21st Feb again. Just off the terminator of the waning Moon, not something i image enough to be honest. Captured with my C9.25, Asi174mm and X3 Barlow. 10,000 frames stacking 20%
  17. The dionysius crater is relatively small, but the dark rays surrounding it i find fascinating. I have imaged once before a few years back, this image is from the almost full waning Moon from the 21st Feb. Imaged under Full Moon conditions, really shows the dark rays very nicely. Captured with my C9.25, Asi174mm and X3 Barlow. 10,000 frames stacking 20%
  18. Thanks for the update, it will be interesting to see it pass by Mars . I watched it last night through my C9.25. It really is moving quickly in relation to the back ground stars.
  19. Saw it again last night, still an easy spot despite the full moons best efforts 🙂
  20. It has been a pleasure following Comet c/2022/E3 (ztf) the past couple of weeks. Amazing how much of the sky it has crossed in such a short time. Not managed to see any hint of colour through my binoculars yet.
  21. I saw it again on Wednesday morning, i thought it seemed a little duller and more diffuse than a couple of days previously. That may have been down to the sky conditions though.
  22. I have one permanently attached to my Asi224mc.
  23. Caught them in the bino's last night, but very foggy here today. not sure it will lift this time to give a chance of seeing them at their closest.
  24. I had a good look this morning, between 5 and 6, very easy spot with my 20 x 80 binoculars. Thought I could see a hint of tail, but that may be wishful thinking. I could see a misty blob, which looked slightly off white in colour. I will get the scope out next time, weather permitting
