  1. Hi, Stu, using this type of finder, it would have to be removed every time it went into its box, or, would a couple of pencil Mark's be made on the telescope so it fastened back in the same position each time bring it back to its initial position work ?
  2. Hi, I have a Tal alcor telescope it has two peep holes to find targets, tonight I tried the Alcor and found it very difficult to find anything, I found the moon by chance and was very surprised how impressively sharp it was, but my query is how do others find their targets.
  3. I actually joined this forum some years ago, but fell by the wayside, during this time I actually bought a couple of Tal 1's. Due to their bulk and weight they did not get used so they went on their travels to others. My interest has been rekindled, and liking Tal's I looked out for and found a Tal Alcor, it is lovely, so my learning curve is about to start with a lighter telescope.
