  1. Hi PhotoGav. I just joined this forum and saw your post of last March regarding your image of Jupiter captured with the EdgeHD 8, 2x Powermate and the ASI120mc. This is the exact setup I am assembling, just waiting for the ASI120mc. My question is do you still have to worry about the 133.5mm back focus of the EdgeHD when using the Powermate and if so what other adapters did you use in your imaging train?

      Hi. No, I didn't worry about backfocus distance with that image (perhaps I should have done?!). I kept the visual back on the Edge, put in the Powermate and then the ASI camera. It all came to focus relatively easily and I started capturing. It would be very interesting to know if that is the right way of doing it or if the spacing is crucial!
