  1. Had a look tonight and was surprised how easy it was to see through 8x42 binoculars. I would estimate it at about magnitude 6.
  2. Saw it first on Thursday night, again last night. Took a while to find in the twilight in my 8 x 42s so was worried at first that it had faded dramatically and was glad when I saw it. Could see it easily naked eye by 23:30 BST or so. Would estimate magnitude 3.5-4. Probably the best I've seen since Ikeya-Zhang in 2002 (I didn't see McNaught in 2007 and Holmes, with its massive outburst later that year, was very different!).
  3. Stepped outside here and could see through cirrus that the southern edge of the Moon was slightly dimmer. Took this photo through my bridge camera (x60) at 18:40.
