Yep still use mine all the time and the notes in the cover show a number of "pointers" to some constellations, I have not learnt the location of them all but just enough to know my way around and it copes much better with life outside in the dark where it works fine if you spill a beer on it πŸ˜‰πŸΊπŸ”­
  5. Get yourself a planisphere and learn the relative positions from there, low tech and will work for every hour of every day for the rest of your life, pretty good value.

  11. Yep theres 150,000 multiple stars listed looks like all have mags for each component and you can make observing lists in there as well.
  12. Carte du Ciel has washington double star catalog fairly sure that gives all mags.
  13. We are holding our first Society meeting online with the speaker doing a YOu tube presentation followed by a Zoom discussion on Monday 11th May. We also have an observatory site a few miles west of Wolves that members can use.

  16. Does anybody have experience of hosting online talks during this Covid lockdown? I am a member of Wolverhampton A.S. and I am looking into the practicalities of talks & meetings online until face to face talks can be resumed.

  21. If I still feel ok bt sat afternoon I will come over for he evening but not stay, I have no intention of asking for a refund and look forward to staying there when things have settled down a bit.
