  1. Hi there, I have recently registered and wanted to say hi, my partner bought me the skywatcher explorer 130p for my birthday in October - although the skies have not been clear for quite while......I must admit I am slightly scared of using it. I have been researching on the web for an idiots guide to setting it up and using, and learning about the different lenses etc.....but I can't find anything simple enough. I have an awful lot to learn....I am very much a beginner (this is my first ever telescope) When I tested it out a while back I also found what could be a design fault - when the telescope is programmed to look directly up to search for something the bottom of it hits the legs (although it manoeuvres itself around it, I wasn't sure if anyone else had this problem too) I am sorry that I have not learnt the technical terms - but like I say I am extremely new to this and very very keen to start my new hobby. Any help would be extremely appreciated. Many thanks
