    Sorry to appear dim then....but does the fact that I’ve started this image as a topic in the planetary imaging thread mean that it’s automatically entered into the comp?.....sorry for not quite grasping this ?

    they are great captures...I didn't even realise that we could capture images so beautifully with this gear .....I have a lot of work to do !!

    I agree with all of the sentiments listed above....its my favourite bit of gear....im still well and truly on the learning curve but here are my efforts on my star adventurer to date.

    Hardly deep sky I know but this is my first effort. I cheekily sent it to the Australian astronomy magazine 'sky and space' for their jun/July 2001 edition and blow me down they published it in the readers pics section !
