  1. hello everyone, i had the opportunity to shoot the partial solar eclipse(the weather was good and it was great especially with everything going on right now.) i took that picture with a nikon d5300, a nikkor 55-300 opened at f/10), 100 iso on a star adventurer. it's one of many pictures i took. if you have any advices, don't hesitate to give them.

Hello everyone, I took those pictures of C/2020 F3 in July from holiday in France(in the darkest area of sky) with my nikon d5300, nikkor 40mm opened at f/4), exposure 5 minutes or 10 minutes(stacking of pictures) at 1600 iso on my star adventurer. The comet was eyes visible at this time in the evening between the 17th of July and the 19th of July. If you have some advices, don't hesitate to give. Arnaud
  4. I saw some people who made that kind of pictures, and it was difficult for them to do this. Someone had to put the refractor on his shoulder and took a picture of iss through the refractor like this. But it's could be possible to do that kind of pictures.

  9. it's great to see that we can do astronomy and astrophotography with linux(mint,ubuntu or other OS). There is a very interesting software on Linux called siril for image processing.

  15. Nice pictures and nice looking from the prom. i read today on a facebook forum for astronomy that a coronal masse injection was visible on the sun but i didn't see that CME on picture until now.
  16. Good evening, i took those pictures from a belgian observatory in Grapfontaine( in the Belgian Ardennes) with a nikon d3200 and my nikkor 55-300mm open at 300mm. I put my dslr at f8 for the sun and i put a mylar on my nikkor 55-300. I had to play with the pause because of the cloud and the lumonosity was sometimes darker and sometimes less darker.   20. i don't have any motorisation on my tripod. it's a tripod for binoculars. How can i do for taking multiples images for DSS? Arnaud
