This was my surprise tonight with my dual RASA8 rig. No idea how it got in and no idea how to get it out. I guess I just have to live with him/her until he/she dies and falls of the corrector plate and hopefully ends up in a corner and not on the main mirror. Any complaints on my star shapes I will direct to this insect of the family Chrysopidae. Yes, I am an entomologist too so it may be a insect revenge......

They could be filming the next installment of "Antman and Wasp : The wrath of the lacewing and a RASA owner"

Thank you for the kind comments.

If I had more room where The obsey went I would have got a larger shed but it works fines and that's now with a large OOUK CT10 in there.

Any help I can give please just ask, tried to cover as much as possible in my videos.

    Clear skies

Top man mate. Will ping you a message in due time if that's OK mate?

  3. What a good looking observatory and might I say well done for making it look so perfect. A very timely post. Looking to move in to a new house and been thinking of removing the battered garden shed and replace it with something like yours. Only difference what I think will be that rather than having two posts, I will be looking in to drawer runners since the roof is super light any way.

I just need to be certain that the space for this shed is going to give me plenty of room to move about and fix any issues without bumping in to thing because like yourself I will be imaging from indoors most of the time.

Might have to tap in to your experience with the shed at some point.

  4. An absolute pleasure going through your build process. Usually I would just scroll down to the pictures and see what someone has done but the entire story was a journey. To top it off, what beautiful skills you have and the end result is jaw dropping gorgeous.

The pier looks like a complete beast. Not sure whereabouts you live because if any closer to London, I would pick that pier off you in a heartbeat.

  5. First of all, welcome back mate.

Now the answer to your main question, yes it is alright to put washer between the pad and the pier because I have done it myself. My concrete pad was level enough and was rock solid but the OCD (even though it really didn't matter in my case) in my wanted the pier to be levelled. So I went ahead and placed 2-3 washers on 3 sides and I was good to go. The darn thing never moved.

    Hope this helps.

  6. Hi All,

I'm wondering if any of you clever cogs can help me here.

I know PI is able to annotate the image with the name of the object but because it's practically and impossible (laborious and boring) task to search for each object individually to find out how far that object is.

So the question is, do you know of a way to not only name the object in the image but also find out how far it is?

    Something similar to this

    Thanks in advance.

LOL yeah according to my calculations it is around 52MB as well which is crazy unless you have a super fast machine that can handle the processing of such huge file size. I'm sure it won't be an issue for many.

Any way, I'm not going to distract the Ops topic any further :)
