  3. I have had the same issue as Jonny H and after a day working on it have just managed to get it working. If you are having problems try this !. 1 find your IP address (see internet) 2 make a note of it 3 In ATP enter the IP address under Tools, Planetarium, Stellarium. For NINA under host This worked for me on a Windows 11 Laptop Hope this will help some. Ken
  4. Just to add my input as I had the same problem with ASTAP it just would not solve. In the end I clicked on the "sum" icon then on the "Alignment" tab and in the FOV (height) box if you scroll down to the end you find "auto" I ran the solver on this and 20 seconds later success. It then populates the correct values for you. Ken

  10. Hi guys have just got a Skywatcher WIFI module for my EQ5 mount. It all works OK using a smart phone but I want to control the mount using Stellirum. I have been able to control the mount using Stellirum on a laptop but would like to monitor the laptop inside on a Tablet using the same WIFI link. I have done this in the past using the home WIFI router and Microsoft remote desktop control. The trouble is when the Skywatcher module is connected vie the WIFI to the Mount it is not connected to the Tablet WIFI for monitoring. Does anyone know if the Skywatcher WIFI module can be used as a Hub and how to set it up or is it not possible? Many thanks for any help.
  11. Hi Carsten Thanks for the recommendation I now have a working system. I used a Nano micro-controller, an EasyDriver stepper motor board and an HC-05 BlueTooth module for the communication with my phone. I used MIT App Inventor to produce the App and Arduino to wright the sketch for the controller. I modified the sketch to communicate with HC-05 using a second serial port so as to use the default TX/RT (pin 0 and 1) to download the code. Thanks ken
  12. Hi Carsten Have received the BT HC-05 module have managed to pair with it on my Android phone and can see the control App you sent but as yet only get a blank screen when I try to "Connect". Do you know the Baud used for communication? Do I need to set this on my phone? Do you have a link to the Arduino sketch you loaded into you system as I may have the wrong one. Thanks Ken
  13. Thanks again Carsten I have a BT module on order. Do you use a phone or laptop to communicate with your focusser and what software did you use to control it? Ken
  14. Thank you Carsten for your advice on a Bluetooth version. I have looked at the schematic and the input to the system seems to be a temperature sensor. What would this be replaced with for a Bluetooth version? Ken
  15. Has anyone built a Focuser that can be controlled by an Arduino micro-controller using infrared remote control? I am in the process of building one but have little experience with coding. If someone has made one I would be grateful for a look at you code/sketch. Many thanks Ken
