  2. hello This is my version of M33. The data has being collected over past 3 months and is heavily cropped. A very frustrating time trying to beat the weather but hay ho Telescope - 102mm APO ES refractor on a AVX mount Camera- Canon 70d unmoded iso800 with a IDAS-D2 filter. Duration 7hours - 300s lights., Darks, flats and bias frames also taken Guided with PHD2 and processed in PS Cheers thanks for looking. Of course any improvements welcome Dean

  18. Hi I used a 450d. I had the settings on RAW ISO 800 and bulb with a remote shutter. Then went onto backyard EOS (which has a free trial period). This made things a lot easier and the added bonus that you can see the quality of images as you go along. As for battery i always had a spare at hand Good Luck Dean
  19. After a couple of attempts only got polemaster working Great. Then attached DSLR camera to scope. Then realised the manual dial had fallen off! No idea where it is So no astrophotography!

      Sorry to hear that.Astronomy,here in tManchester you try and fail many times and then you get a good night...all the wasted sessions before are forgotten.
