  1. I will re-post M53 with more integration time weather pending 👍
  2. Will do 👍 Wanted to do a quickie run to check out new flat frames. Was having issues with them with my previous M51 image
  3. Thats Brill. Thankyou for your effort with this challenge. Which magic wand did you use? Dean
  4. Decided to put M51 on back burner for moment, so inspired by other M53's on this site I decided to give it a quick go Telescope used: ES102mm APO AT f7 on a AVX mount Camera used: ZWO 385MC camera in bottle 5 skies. Settings used , Gain 135 Exposure 120s Integration time around 1hour Darks and flats used, Finished in PS. Of course pointers for improvement welcome Cheers Dean
  5. Thankyou Chris and alacant Re-process with top 50% according to DSS. Tried not to back clip, Streaks still there bit can see some faint fuzzies this time. Will do more research into using PI Cheers Dean
  6. Will look into patchy background. Bit the bullet and cleaned the lens for the first time. I've had this Scope for years now. Hope the new flats help with this issue. People seem to be getting sharper images using pixlnsight compared to PS
  7. Hope this image is better had another go with gradient exterminator using Clarkey image. So much detail Thankyou
  8. Thankyou Clarkey Liking the more detail then i managed. Did you pull out some more smaller fuzzies? Or are they just scratches on the lens? Also did you PS or other software? Cheers Dean
  9. Thankyou for your effort. Liking the background and more detail then i managed 👍
  10. Hi This is my attempt with off M51. Started this project in January how ever so much cloud! Defiantly not the best image. Did struggle with the flat frames. I must bite the bullet and give the lens a clean. Telescope used: ES102mm APO AT f7 on a AVX mount Camera used: ZWO 385MC camera in bottle 5 skies. Settings used , Gain 135 Exposure 120s Integration time around 30 hours Darks and flats used, Finished in PS. Of course pointers for improvement welcome Cheers Dean Also attached is the tiff file if you fancy a challenge 😁 30hrs-16bitE120G135.tif
  11. Wow this is absolutely amazing processing. You have extracted so much details Thankyou. Still so much for me to learn, will start with properly learning plate solving
  12. Thankyou all for having ago with the data for M33. Its interesting also to compare the outcomes of various processing tools. They all look awesome. Wim, thanks for details very much appreciated. Yes I had to use camera out for planetary work also. I dont use platesolving. Instead use sharcap reticle to center objects, and to control the mount I use Celestrons CPWI software. My skies are 4/5 bortle. So from what you are saying is that the camera's (ZWO 385MC) gain is to high at 135. I thought this was the optimum for this camera? Should i reduce for next project? I'm very appreciative from the experts and thankyou for taking time to have ago. Certainly learning new things as I go along 👍 Dean
  13. Thanks Damian for taking the time to process and share. This looks awesome aswell. Just need more practice usind PS. Yesterday learn't how to do star reduction. Yeah onwards and upwards 😁👍 Dean
  14. Thankyou, Will look into pixinsight. Like what you did with star reduction and pulling out the finer detail
  15. Wow, Thankyou. I prefer . I much prefer your version 👍 Which software did you use?
  16. Thanks Paul I used 120s from a bortle 4/5 site. Do you reckon still 135gain is to high?
  17. If anyone wants ago please. 18hrs.tif
  18. Thanks Paul Will try lower gain next time, What exposure did you use for your subs? I did a redo Hope this looks better?
  19. Hi This is my attempt with the ZWO 385MC camera with a ir/uv cut of M33 in bottle 5 skies. Telescope used was the ES102mm APO AT f7 on a AVX mount Settings used in sharpcap. Gain 135 Integration time around 18 hours using 120s subs. Could it do with more subs? Darks and flats used, Finished in PS. Of course pointers for improvement welcome Cheers Dean
  20. Hi I have being using same set up for nearly a year now. Everything was going good till this evening and the gremlins have arrived For some reason i cannot adjust the exposure slider in sharpcap not even clicking on the LX tab. Every other slider in sharpcap settings work apart from the exposure one. Any tips to how i can get this exposure slider to work please thankyou Dean
  21. Hi first time using this camera Zwo asi385mc with x2 Barlow, on Jupiter. After it finally climbed over the fence just after midnight Telescope 102 ES APO. Although next time will use the C8 Processed in PIPP, registax and photoshop. 4000 frames used. How do you get the moons without overexposing Jupiter? Off course any suggestions for improvements welcome 😁 Cheers Dean
  22. Hi This is my attempt with the This is a section of NGC6992, part of the Eastern veil nebula in bottle 5 skies. Using a ZWO 385MC camera with a L-eNhance. Certainly not the quality as other members have posted Telescope used was the ES102mm APO AT f7 on a AVX mount Settings used in sharpcap. Gain 200 (is this to high for my camera??) with the L-eNhance filter Integration time around 14 hours using 120s subs. Could it do with more subs? Darks and flats used, Finished in PS. Of course pointers for improvement welcome Cheers, thanks for looking Dean
  23. Thanks Peter. Much appreciated, Wasn't sure if I cropped it to much 👍
