Newtown Astronomy Society's next meeting is on November 12th 2016 at 7 pm when Mr Les Fry will be giving a talk

'If I Can Do that  - Astronomers can make anything out of chewing gum and a piece of string'. the talk is how a boy's love of the night sky became a lifelong passion. A talk that takes you from '0' level Astronomy in Dorset to being instrumental in attaining International Dark Sky Status for the Elan Valley Estate in Mid Wales.
