  1. Hi all, I purchased a spares and repair Celestron AVX mount which needed some work, nothing major, thankfully. Got it working and done some Hypertuning to it.... change of bearings and instead of the stock nylon spacers, some made to measure PTFE (teflon Spacers) The dilemma I have is simple, I have managed to get a NEQ6 tripod, great, a stable platform. I bought the Geoptik HEQ5 to NWQ6 converter, having read that the base of the AVx is similar to an EQ5 etc...... simply put, it doesn't. Literally a hairs breath for the mount to fit into the adapter. I know there are adapters and converter plates out there, so much so, it is just mind boggling. My question is, has anyone any ideas of an adapter, be it a referral to a company which does custom orders. If anyone can help, that would be great. Many thanks Dyfed
  2. Hi all, Thanks to you all. The plans on the Sky at Night Link looks promising. See how it goes..... and try and keep you updated. Dyf
