    managed to see M13 through binoculors for the first time, wel it was the meerest smudge of grey, but I knew it was there.

      Bit low still and last night (here at least) the air had a lot of moisture in it. I was pointing things out with a GLP and the effect of the "droplets" was making a sort of sparkling beam. Pretty but it highlighted the situation.

      Nice, I remember being so pleased with myself finding M13 in Bins. The view through my scope a year later had me glued to the spot for 2 hours. Can't wait for Hercules again.
