  1. V2 for me. I think that I can see slightly more detail in this one. But all great images in any case.
  2. have a look at this. Luke does a great job and his channel is highly recommended.
  3. Well seems pretty unanimous 🙂 Just ordered one from FLO. Many thanks guys
  4. As per title . Looking for a good cam preferably sub £400 and in the ZWO range as I have chosen them as my main gear kit . Will be used with the Skymax 127 Mak. Many thanks in advance Best regards John
  5. I use Skysafari Pro6 with the AZ GTI and asiair plus. I use the LX200 classic setting in the scope menu. I only use this to track the mount as i read somewhere that you cannot use the program to select go to.
  6. Hi Sorry, no you do not need the shutter release cable. The asiair will control the camera functions through the usb cable. The usb cable is the only thing you need between the camera and the asiair. It is a great set up really enjoying mine.
  7. No control goes to the asiair via usb.
  8. Like the look of this https://teleskop-austria.at/StarAdvGtiSet?fbclid=IwAR3QJFL1Bn7XzZqoUcFXPSoy4h1hJvYVYQQ22tF6lm-tRrs4PtmI2zm0fjg#m
  9. Thank you Tony It is very addictive! I view the target in live stacking mode and then when i wish to move on i use the capture function to save the current stack view. The images are as i saw them on the tablet. It works for me as i do not have the patience or wish to learn all the processing techniques. I started on the easy targets as most do 🙂 For me EAA/EEVA is the way forward.
  10. The images are stacked from the Asiair plus live view. The capture of the live view may be interpreted as imaging, i am not really sure? By background is in visual astronomy so all this is new to me. I think most of it is down to the ease of the software. 🙂
  11. Thanks Mike I will take that onboard, it is still early days for me 🙂 Looking good for tonight...fingers crossed
  12. I also use the azgti (eq mode) and love the simplicity and grab and go aspects. Going down the path of EAA at the moment as my eyesight isnt what it used to be. I am very impressed with the Asiair plus when paired with the mount.
  13. Sorry messed up post how do i delete and start again?
