    I saw this discussion and thought you'd be the people to ask... I'm new to the whole goto mount thing and have bought an EQ3 goto mount. I know the 3 stars I want to align the telescope by so... can I simply align it using the tube mounted finderscope or do I need to align the mount itself using the view finder in the mount?
