    set up waiting for the moon to come from behind some cloud, scanning the sky with the binos , spyed the Pleiades just rising above the horizon, if I don't see anything else tonight ill be happy, what a fantastic sight, the seeing looks to be good... charl.

      Managed a couple of hours last night until 10pm. Got the darkest skies until the moon crept up, and managed to see the Saturn nebula for the first time, and I think I got Neptune too, so well chuffed! :)

      sounds like you had a goodnight Gus, the sat-neb is quite a hard one in the vis, it stayed cloudy here for most of the night mate, im hoping for better skys tonight.  charl.

      The Goto mount helps a lot here. If I had to star hop to find it I don't think I would have found it as easy. :)
