Thanks Kon. The rgb 's are in the cooking pot. I have some with the mono cam later that week so I will see how they compare but seeing is always a problem when comparing planetary results.

My other advice is to install plate solving, it is fairly easy to do now. Patriot Astro and Cuiv the lazy Geek have You tube vids on it

Alter framing to file load image and point it to one of your raws from the session and it will ask you to plate solve or use blind solver (online ) when it has solved, you can ask for a rotation solve as well hit slew and centre.

I will see what happens tonight and if it plays up I will go back to 2.6 for a while.

I had to do a fresh download and install of FC last night this morning as the cam even when connected was playing silly B's.

I'm not firing on all cylinders as I did a CH4 test this am and used the colour cam rather than the mono 🥱

Did an 8" some years ago - transformed the usabillity of the scope. Nothing really to worry about.
