  5. Sure! Here it is... I also sent you a PM with both attached.
  6. A couple of days ago, I posted an image that covered almost the entire NE quadrant of the sun. The image contained a couple of decent proms close to each other and another little "bump" that I decided to leave without cropping it out. I've been experimenting with a fairly new application recently called Gigapixel AI by Topaz Labs, and decided to see what it could do. I took my original shot (TIFF) that was 800x643 pixels and doubled its size to 1600x1286 pixels. I then cropped out what I wanted to keep to a "new" image that was 673x859. Gigapixel did a good job at "stretching" everything. However, there were a few "speckles" that sort of resembled noise, so I stuck it back in Photoshop for a very little fine tuning... Thanks for the peek. Clear Skies John
  7. I set up early yesterday to shoot that tiny sunspot that had developed. However, by the time the sun was high enough to shoot it was gone. So I shot this anyway. Thanks for the peek. Stay Safe & Clear Skies John
  8. Seeing was terrible at 0900hrs and promising to get worse. So I waited until the sun was above 30 degrees and took the shot. Thanks for the peek.😀 Clear Skies & Stay Safe
  9. Nicely done!😀 Thanks for sharing your work. Clear Skies
  10. Lots of action there... Certainly worth the wait.😀 Thanks much for the share(s). Clear Skies
  11. Seeing was 4/5 due to high smoke from the California wildfires west of my home in Las Vegas, Nv. Outside air temp was 108 deg (F) with just a hint of wind. Thanks for looking.😀 Clear Skies
  12. Good work, David.😀 Thanks for the shares. Clear Skies
  13. One of the US forums (TheSkySearchers) is having a processing "challenge" starting tomorrow (Sep 15, 2020) and they're going to use some of my data. I found the two AVIs of a full disk/proms from the Fall of 2016. It was shot with a Lunt 60PT and an ASI120MM cam. The data is available in my public DrobBox if anyone wants to tinker around with some really old (four years) stuff. The proms are at: PROM DROPBOX LINK The surface is at: SURFACE DROPBOX LINK No password is needed as it's a Public Folder.😀 Since it is my shot, I figured that I'd better process it some. NOTE THAT I ACCIDENTALLY PUT THE YEAR AS 2018 ON TWO OF THE SHOTS BELOW. IT WAS REALLY 2016.😀
  14. I'm a big fan of Alexandra's work, and this award-winning shot is an example of why. Congratulations Alexandra!!!!😀
  15. Great job, Steve! Thanks for sharing with those of us who are out of luck right now. Clear Skies
  16. I've never tried the 178, but bought a 174 when I started using a Quark. It performs very well with the Q. Clear Skies
  17. Nice work as usual, old friend.😀 It's been a while for me, but I still enjoy your images. Thanks much for the share(s). Clear Skies
  18. I've been away for a while, but when cleaning out my auxiliary drive I stumbled across this AVI that had never been processed. So, just for fun, I processed it. From October 2016... Thanks for the peek.😀
  19. Nice work, Dave. Thanks for the shares. Clear Skies
  20. Very nice work! Thanks for the share. Having lived in Florida for many years, I know how difficult such detail is given the humidity. Good Job!
  21. Nice work, Charl. Good to see your work again. Clear Skies my friend.
  22. Wonderful details. Thanks for the share.
  23. The weather finally cooperated a bit on June 3rd. Seeing 3/5. Mount: EQ pro (modified); Scope: SkyWatcher 80mm f/7.5; Solar device: Quark Chromosphere; Filter: UV/IR-cut installed in front of the diagonal; Camera: ASI174MM-cool (monochrome). Software: SharpCap version 3.0; 60/1000 frames stacked in AS3!; Prom processed in IMPPG & Surface in RegiStax 6; Final finishing in Photoshop CC.
  24. I've been out-of-business all year. Living in the desert, there are many, many clear days. However, this year has been terrible with clouds and even rain seemingly all year. I finally got a chance to dust off the solar gear and shot these yesterday.
  25. Tony, I'm glad you got a fast reply from FLO. They're a great company to deal with. I use the ASI174MM monochrome cams (I have two of 'em, both cooled.) all the time. If, like me, you're using SharpCap, try to find a copy of Version 3.0, or earlier. With the latest version, Sam Wen (the owner of ZWO) refused to let SharpCap include gamma controls for his cameras. Gamma control can be of great benefit, especially to a new solar imager... lower gamma (~20) can enhance surface details while settings around 65 can help with finer prom details. You'll get there... not to worry.? There are a lot of very good imagers here that will help you climb the learning curve. Clear Skies
