Hi, comet 2020 R4 Atlas imaged in the early hours of the 2nd about 2-15 am from my backyard observatory. Conditions where poor , it is only a 80s exposure.[ Thanks to Paul M for pointing out there is a faint fuzzy in the pic witch i have highlighted]. I thought it might be some sort of a reflection. Imaging rig, OOUK ODK12 Camera, A A 294C Protec..Baader Moon & Skyglow filter Mount, Ioptron Cem120ec. Bob.

Hi Paul, i managed to image R4 in the early hours of the 2nd but my sky was poor , also showing UGC08630. I wasn't sure what it was until i read your post👍,thanks for pointing it out. I use two rigs, ,one for close up with my ODK12. and the other for a wider field of view a STAR71 pigybacked but i failed to get Palomar in the shot. Bob. -

Hi ,during this run of clear nights i have had in Stoke-on-Trent i have imaged this comet 2020 R4 ATLAS. Taken the early morning of Friday the 16/4/21 just after 3 o'clock ,It is 4x80s with my OOUK ODK 12 and A A 294C ProTEC. Bob.

Last night i was able to get another go at the nova in Cassiopeia. 1st pic is 2x180s with my ODK12 and A A ProTec294c,2nd pic is 1x180s through my Star71mm and Zwo 1600mc-c.. Bob

Hi, just got to image even with the moon out. M82 the Cigar Galaxy imaged the evenings of the 25th & 26th FEB. Just over 11hrs image time, [nearly daylight to my thinking]. Filters used Optlong L-eXtreem and Baader Neodymium & IR-Cut Moon & Skyglow. 141 x 180s..51 x 300s Scope OOUK ODK12. f6-8 Camera A A 294C ProTec Mount Ioptron Cem120ec Capture & Processing APT..APP..Photoshop. Decided to image the moon yesterday afternoon for first time in ages before starting deepsky.[witch turned out hopeless in the end]. Best 25% of around 800 frs stacked in AutoStakkert, ICE for stitching, Reg6 and Photoshop for sharpening and color. Capture software, Sharp Cap pro. OOUK OD12" ...A A 294C ProTec ..IOPTRON CEM120EC Mount. Bob.
