  7. Hi Dave, yes I think at the moment with Panstarrs it is a lot fainter than Africano so I may not be able to with my scope as yet. It is being said that Panstarrs might reach naked eye vis in early May 2020, I would like to think it is. I will keep looking though hoping I will catch it soon.
  8. Hi guy's, Last night cleared and i had a good few hours imageing and testing new gear. I decided to finish the night looking to see if i could find the two comets C/2018 W2 AFRICANO and C/2017 T2 PANSTARRS I did manage to find africano, see my pic but failed on panstarrs. This is 1x120s @ ISO 1600. Regards Bob.

ASTRONOMIK 6NM HA Filter Mount IOPTRON CEM 120 EC.. unguided.. Thanks for looking, Bob.

  19. Thanks Dave for your help, I think that I will do as you have and tell them to fit it to the primary. Yes, the 12 is pushing me also ,but I think it's what I want so what the eck....go for it.. Best regards, Bob.
  20. Hi Andrew, Is that for the primary and secondary, or just one fitted. Also which one is the most needed do you think. Thanks Bob.
  21. Hi Dave, i am in this same position as regards to heaters for OOUK ODK. I have got to let them know pretty quickly. Have you now decided what is the best way going forward for your scope. I have ordered the 10in..but also thinking of going for the 12in instead.. I hope everything is going to plan for you and on track. Clear skies, Bob.
  22. HI John, Nice to here from you and am glad you are ok. . It must have been a bit of a shock for you when it was cancelled.. Fingers crossed ,your new kit looks like it will be a good purchase.I am no expert but those subs look fine and very encouraging. I am seriously thinking of one of those scopes for my final rig setup. I was imaging same night ,also last night and hopefully tonight .My mount is performing well unguided with my Star 71..Hopefully it will be okay with a big aperture scope and guided. Looking forward to more of your pics and tests. Keep yourself well John and clear skies. Bob.
  23. Hi John, it's looking very impressive . Looking forward to seeing some nice galaxy pics soon and of your opinion of the scope [as I am interested in these truss RC'S also]. Fingers crossed for Sunday night and early Monday morning. I do hope all goes well with your surgery and you will be up and running again soon. Please give my regards to Mark when you next see him. All the very best, Bob.
  24. Hi John, The mount up to press has been a delight, every thing is up and running great with the software. As you know I only have my Star 71 on it at the moment which I know is not that demanding. I am not doing any auto guideing though as yet, I am seeing how far I can go without, [I might wait till I get a bigger scope on for that]. The go to's and tracking with this mount are very good and also no problem with the flips [as yet]..fingers crossed. I know it is early days yet as we are not getting the weather for all the tests, but I think I am not going to be disappointed with this mount. Best regards Bob.
