    Hi Martin,

    Don't know if it's of any interest to you, but yesterday I was in Swansea South Wales and saw an 8" Celestron on a fork mount & tripod, with barlow, diagonal, one eyepiece, and a pelican "type" case for £599.oo

    Didn't know why, as I have more equipment than I need, but I took the information down anyway and got a busness card from them.

      The optics looked clean, and the scope did not look abused; that's about all I can tell you,  as I didn't have much time to spend there. Ask them to send you some detailed photos.
