Brave Sir Robin

Hi Everyone, I hope you've all had clear skies, (yeah right, who am I kidding!?) I am looking to get myself an entry level H-Alpha scope. Before you all start, I'm not looking at Lunt. Out of my price range! I'm also not too worried about getting into it more seriously, but obviously I would like to spend my £ wisely. I'm not interested in imaging. What I would like to know is which of the two scopes above gives a better visual view? Now, I appreciate that there might be a difference in performance between them with regards surface detail and proms - please let me know which you think is better for which. Secondly - how much better is the view with a double stack, over and above a single elaton? FLO's blurb about the Solar Scout says 'Double Stack Performance' Reading between the lines here, would seem to suggest that it is not a double stack. I know that I can add a double stack to the PST at a later date. Is this an option with the Solar scout too? What is the variability in performance between any two random PSTs or Solar Scouts? Given this in my first foray into solar, I'm unlikely to realise if I get shipped a dud. I've heard mixed opinions re the Solar Scout. Is this based on first hand experience, or just a healthy cynicism around price points and manufacturing quality control trade-offs.😂 Right. That's the blue touch paper lit. 💣 Now.
