I'm guessing you find the 10" quite a big effort to take outside? Or is it because you can't really do AP with a dob? It's okay, don't worry about it. Take some time and decide what you really want to do in astronomy, and if needs be sell the 10" to fund the start of an AP rig :).
The 10" dob has given me some really great views of the moon, Jupiter and the Orion Nebula. I will just stick with the dob for now. Think am getting carried away with my self at the moment and just wanting to try everything to do with astronomy. I would like to do AP In the future. Thanks :)
