DXO 11 is free in digital camera magazine this month

Hi Fay, I think you still have a tendency to lean to the left 

 Just got back from a holiday in Brittany. Enjoyed some nice although small views of Mars and Saturn through my Altair Astro 66mm. Refractor.  Viewing these planets this year from a lower latitude really helps. If the weather is kind this week, I will try to image them from my backyard through my larger scope. Hopefully both will appear sometime through the night between the roofs of my neighbours' houses. Such fun!

Rubbish weather = bake another cake. The challenge for tonight.... lemon drizzle cake =P (very apt given the weather!)

Will be giving a talk on solar imaging this afternoon

so at 2 am this morning a group of morons in a car drove through my front garden, totalling the good lady's car and pushing mine of the drive and into the garden, before driving off again.. its either speed or alcohol, but probably both... unbelievable and it was cloudy too, complete toilet of an evening!

Well, clear forecast + gusty winds + no moon = got to give it a go!

Got myself told off in mothercare for stating that a cot mattress was the same price as a new tal.... got it down to £150, "same price as a second hand tal".. and I thought astro stuff was expensive... don't ask me about the pram!

Been accpeted to study Astronomy and Cosmology starting October.
