  1. I may as well quote myself. Clear skies here tonight so I took a look at Pleiades and Aldebaran.
  2. I'm sure if aliens did exist they'd be so advanced technologically wise that they would have been here thousands of years ago. And then quickly left after finding nothing they couldn't get anywhere else.
  3. I've not seen a single star for at least a week due to prolonged cloud cover.

    Newbie here

    My name's Ian and I'm from the North West of England. I've done a bit of astronomy in the past but it kind of faded as I moved out of my teens and life caught-up with me. All I have are a pair of Miranda 10x50 binoculars and my old Philips Planisphere but I hope to get a modest telescope in the near future. *Ian*
