  1. Hi Guys On going through my data for the night of the 18th, there was a decent run slightly earlier on, which was good as the GRS was marginally better placed. Here is the result on that one. It's probably the last of them this apparition 😉 All the best Harvey
  2. Yes quite. Thanks for your feedback Geof! Best Wishes Harvey
  3. Thank You Reggie, - much appreciated 🙂
  4. Hi It weighs about the same as a C14
  5. Decent seeing conditions here on the night of the 18th Jan. It was good to get out and gather the following whilst freezing my Bottom off! (My toes are only just beginning to warm up)! 😬 Best Harvey
  6. Thanks Geof. Good luck with the deep sky images, you are clearly extremely talented! Unfortunately, You've missed a couple of decent nights I think. The 18th here was particularly good. - Will post image when fully processed. Best Harvey
  7. It was good to get out on the evening of the 15th Jan. There was a mild overhead jetstream, although conditions on the ground were reasonably still. I was determined to get something before the end of this apparition, and was pleasantly surprised at what I got. I'd set out with the coloured cam this time, as I wasn't sure of the outcome Cheers Harvey
  8. Thanks Pete. Agreed, you spend a lot more time processing than capturing the data, although the capture needs to be bang on to bring out the best results, - particularly in the UK
  9. Thanks Stuuy, appreciated! 🙂
  10. Many thanks Reggie. I was really lucky to get these conditions in the narrow window that was had, so I know what you mean! 🙂
  11. I am pleased with it. Thank you
  12. These look fine to me. Nice and soft with detail. I'm wondering how well you nailed focus on the colour one though
  13. No, it was with the QHY 5111678 mono. Dare I say it but it was oversampled at around F14, so over the 5X pixel size recommended. (7 times). I always find on nights of decent seeing I can get higher levels of detail doing this. Detail covers more pixels I spose
  14. You are right about that. I missed the night before which was clear all night. I saw it was clear last night so opened up the obsy. The rain came in within an hour of me closing it. I grabbed about 5 RGB runs and that was it. I'm glad I have finally found the focusing offsets with the various filters, it took some time to perfect.
  15. That's outstanding Geof. All your hard work has paid off! 👏
  16. This one surprised me somewhat as I was imaging in a gap in the jetstream. An aircraft (jet), passed just south of the planet half way through the green channel on the middle of the run too. Doesn't seem to have messed things up too much though. This is a 3 RGB run. I was somewhat lucky, because it rained here about an hour after imaging
  17. Thanks Pete. Looks like you've been busy winning prizes! 🙂
  18. Many thanks Geof. (P.S. - If you know anyone that wants a C14, I have an Edge HD that I am considering selling, - I've had it from new). Cheers Harvey
