About Me
The constellation, Cassiopeia is named after the queen of Aethiopia and the mother of Princess Andromeda.
She was placed in the sky as a punishment for her boast that she was more beautiful than the sea nymphs and forced to wheel around the North Celestial Pole on her throne, spending half of her time clinging to it so she does not fall off.
Like Cassiopeia, I to am being punished for trying to create beautiful images by going round in circles processing images trying to improve them in a endless cycle.
Oh and our cat, Cassy, a Bengal, is named after the constellation Cassiopeia, because she thinks she is the boss of the house.
Cassiopeia, 1\2 wild Bengal cat, 1\2 tomcat. She is one crazy kitty, but she fits right in.
She loves to join me out most evenings when I stargaze, attacking anything that moves including my feet and sometimes my equipment. She sometimes hunts in the forest and sometimes annoyingly sets of the neighbours security lights!
These all add to the tribulations of trying to get that beautiful picture.
