  1. I know that refractors are better for DSO imaging but I don't have one and I hope that my Newtonian can also handle some photography. I'm also aware that I need another camera for guiding, but still is there any good CCD in my price range around 400€ that would do better than previously mentioned DSLRs?
  2. Hello, Thanks for a fast replay, I have laptop so this is not a problem.
  3. Hello, After one year of visual observing with my GSO Newtonian telescope I have decided to start with astrophotography. I have 200 mm Newtonian OTA with focal length of 1000mm on NEQ6 mount so I think that should be enough for photography but would like to know what other parts would you recommend to me. I was thinking about buying DSLR camera EOS 1100D or 1200D (they are around 350-400€). But don't know if I should rather get a CDD camera instead if there is a good one in this price range. Would also like to ask what guiding scope should I use and what guiding camera should I use. Note that I would like that the whole equipment wouldn't cost more than 1000€. Thanks for the answers.
  4. Hello, So I have a question about what actually 1/4 and 1/6 PV means? I have seen that Skywatcher telescopes have 1/4 and 1/6 PV and that GSO telescopes have 1/12 wave but it also states that this is RMS so is this the same as Skywatcher measurement or is it different, and which one is better. Also saw that the GSO has around 93% reflection, does anyone know how much reflection do the Skywatcher telescopes have, for example: http://www.teleskop-express.de/shop/product_info.php/info/p3888_Skywatcher-Explorer-250PDS---10--f-4-7-Newton---2--1-10-Crayford.html link to the GSO webside: http://www.gs-telescope.com/content.asp?id=142
  5. Came to the situation where I got my EQ6 mount only need the OTA and both of them cost the same which one would you choose? Will use it for both visual and astrophotography. http://www.teleskop-express.de/shop/product_info.php/info/p3888_Skywatcher-Explorer-250PDS---10--f-4-7-Newton---2--1-10-Crayford.html http://www.teleskop-express.de/shop/product_info.php/info/p2765_GSO-254-1250mm-Newtonian---10--parabolic-Mirror---OTA.html
  6. yes http://www.astrobuysell.com/uk/propview.php?view=73355 this is the link
  7. No it is white one, and it is pro version.
  8. second hand(2 years old) or the new one(costs 400€ more)
  9. Thanks, But does that help with astrophotgraphy that much that it is worth paing 400€ more for the mount?
  10. Hello, I'm intending to buy 2 years old EQ6 pro. But I have some questions: - did skywatcher add anything special to the EQ6 mounts in the last two years or are they the same? - is there anything that can make mount less accurate (cogwheels or something like that) Thanks for the answers
  11. Hello, I'm intending to buy 200mm f/5 Newtonian, but can't decide which one to buy. I'm deciding between http://www.teleskop-express.de/shop/product_info.php/info/p5237_GSO-8--f-5-GoTo-Newtonian-Telescope---EQ6-SynScan-mount.html and http://www.teleskop-express.de/shop/product_info.php/info/p3887_Skywatcher-Explorer-200PDS---8--f-5-Newtonian---1-10-MICRO.html + http://www.teleskop-express.de/shop/product_info.php/info/p433_Skywatcher-EQ-6-Pro-SynScan-GoTo-equatorial-Mount---Telescopes-to-20kg.html , and the question is, is Skywatcher really worth 200€ more. What is your experience with both manufacturers? thanks for the answers
  12. Thanks for the replay, Can you plz give me a link to where I can contact him or maybe his e-mail.
