    Skies looking good for this evening. Neighbour wants to have a look through the scope. Hopefully can them interested then I will have an observing partner.

    AZ4 on order. Hopefully it will get me out a bit more as the CG-5 GT is a bit bulky as a grab and go.

      My 127mak is a Celestron from a nexstar so the dovetail and finder is in the correct place.

      thats handy, you will love the AZ4 i rarely use the EQ mount these days

      I hope so. Seen I can get my C8 on there which is a result. That one I may have to move things around on.

      Terrible, couldn't get it tracking properly to get a long enough run so I could adjust the settings on sharpcap.

      Want the binos for portability more than anything, also to keep in the car.

    Broke my Polar scope. Had problems calibrating it, took out all the grub screws hope to reset it some how and now its all locked up. :(

    Just seen the Orion Nebula for the first time through my ST80 from a little patch of grass out the back of the flat. Well chuffed.

      I would do but the mount is all packed up in flight cases thats why I'm looking for a gab and go mount for the C8.

      I figure it's more a disposition of heart, so to say. I don't own a car. I don't have a garden. I live in a city. But there's no way any of that is preventing me from getting out with my scope. If the heart's not into it, so be it.
