well would like a bit of magnification for viewing planets, so maybe a Mak 127 or the TAL100RS have been reviewing both & seem to be pretty good for the money, am going to keep the same mount as do visual & imaging & cant afford much more at the moment

Hmmm if you already have a 150p (long focal, narrow field), I would suggest a wide field such as the ED80 or ED100.

well the 150P is an F5 scope only 750mm long, did look at the ED100 very nice scope bit pricy but not out of question

I looked and saw a 2 hour window of clear. Didn't set up though - glad I didn't. High level cloud now coming in during the 'clear' spell.

450d are cheap enough and easy to mod your self

been looking at them & the 500D as has a better live veiw screen but 450 spose to have less noise

ooo... the amount of times I've had that thought :D

tell me about it...high altitude haze has killed me, only thing to keep me going was a very early morning flirt with Venus via my 15x70's a few days back
