I acquired an Altair Astro AZ mount recently and realised very quickly that I had to tighten the altitude knob every time I changed eyepieces. The mount is so smooth and intuitive to use I just love it. I have the following focal lengths: 3.5 - 5 - 7 - 9 - 10 - 14 - 15 - 17 - 20 - 24 - 28 - 30 - 38 8 to 24 Zoom 1.6X - 2X - 2.25X Barlows I think thats all bases covered for focal lengths but as far as quality is concerned, thats another matter. I was thinking of getting a 6mm Delos but having used the Baader 2.25 Zoom Barlow with the 10mm and 14mm Delos' giving me 4.4mm and 6.2mm I don't think I need anymore eyepieces. I was pleasantly surprised to find how clear and sharp the images were with this Barlow. Thats it I've got all the Astro gear I need, bring on the dark clear nights. Avtar

Focal length and aperture are not displaying for the Revelation 12" f5 Dob. Focal length = 1520 Aperture = 304

Don't use them much now as I find the Baader Zoom set at 8mm with the 2.25 Barlow gives me a better view, especialy for splitting doubles - to my eyes anyway. Avtar
