  1. Thank you all im not too fussed about Astrophotography. As I'm more of a visual observer so would choose views over photos any day
  2. I've recently been thinking about upgrading my skywatcher skyliner 150p normal dob mount for something Alittle more high tech and exiting and have been looking on FLO website and found a EQ3 GOTO and that has raised some questions and I could thing of no better place to ask them 1) will I be able to attach my skyliner 150p to the EQ3? 2) does the GOTO function work..ie tracking objects? 3) I have a slight interest in Astrophotography so would this setup let me at least have a stab at it? or should I save Alittle more and buy the EQ3 with a scope, maybe something a little b
  3. Ah thank you Ben I will look into it Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  4. Contacting the house owner isn't really an option maybe I will keep my eyes out for now as like you say would be easier to shift complete...maybe try and resist any idea of an upgrade as tempting as it is Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  5. Hi everyone, I have run into a bit of a situation while moving house..my telescope made the trip but my finderscope and my 3 eye pieces were left behind and I only found out when getting ready to go out to a lovely clear sky and got stopped before I even got outside I'm devastated. But hears my question. Do you think I would be better off buying a new finderscope and eyepieces for my skyliner 150p or selling my current scope and maybe buying a new skyliner or maybe even take this option for an upgrade...every cloud and all that...all replys greatly received Spidy Sent from my iPad using Tapat

  12. I feel like a giddy child. Last night i had my perants over and got into a convosation on asronomy so we decided to take my skyliner 150p out to see what was about and the moon was an easy first target but always looks great but the crem da la crem for me was jupiter and its moons. With seeing conditions good enough for some high magnifecations was fantastic to see the wether bands so clear and like i said the moons too. I was then keen to search for some DSOs but as always beaten but the clouds rolling in but so so exited by that i just cant wait to get out again. Sent from my GT-I9505 usi
