  1. Yes that is something i will do once i get the gear (just need to travel about 200 miles to collect the scope over the next week). Thanks for your help.
  2. Spot on. What would you suggest if I go OAG on my proposed MN190. I am no expert and would appreciate your guidance.
  3. I was only going off the manual and must say I have had no issues guiding with my 60mm guide scope. This is the direct quote from the manual but everyone’s set up is different. “The preferred guiding mode is 2x2 binned, as this gives both fast downloads and high sensitivity without any ‘interlacing’ issues. The ‘Fast’ 2x1 mode is also useful if you are working with a short focal length guide ‘scope, as it offers somewhat finer RA guiding resolution in the X axis if this is oriented East-West. If operating with a very short focus ‘scope, high resolution mode may be best”. whether it purely relates to their own guiding programme I am not sure.
  4. That’s good. I also read in my Lodestar x2 manual to set binning at 2x2 in PHD2. (Lots of 2s in this post😄).
  5. Here is mine. Sadly virtually unused apart from a Kielder Starcamp a few years ago (just checked and it was 2015). C11 and NEQ6 has now gone so decisions on its future need to be made.
  6. Will it be available at a later date? I have a clash tonight with our Society also doing a Zoom talk at the same time.
  7. Thank you eveyone. I just hope the finances are in place before stocks run short.
  8. That is nice. Thank you. It seems to tick the boxes. Is the focuser up to the job of handling the CCD, wheel and OAG?
  9. I am looking for a new imaging scope of around 1000mm FL to match with my Atik 460EXM. This is to enable me to image some of the smaller items that my GT81 cannot manage. I am interested in the MN190 but see very little mentioned about it anywhere. My mount is the CEM120 so will handle its weight easily. It will also be Observatory mounted so should not suffer from any wind buffeting. Any thoughts are greatly appreciated.
  10. Can you not get the camera repaired. Cheaper than a new camera
  11. That is not good. Is the Observatory using mains electricity? To ensure all of my gear is getting a regulated voltage i have a transformer to ensure this does not happen. It has been going strong since 2014. You are getting a top of the range product with the Pegasus. Can the camera be fixed? https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B007CGBTOQ?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_dt_b_product_details
  12. I cannot find anything to reduce the slewing speed. i guess it’s like the Skywatcher as my NEQ6 always slewed at top speed as well.
  13. Astronomy is a long game. As long as you are enjoying it. that is all that matters.
  14. Not too far away but it could be a different planet at the moment. When this is all over you should pay us a visit on a Thursday or Sunday evening. sunderlandastro.com
  15. Thanks David. I will be ordering some power cables from Dew control and note the 5.5 x 2.5 plug. This is the same as a couple on my CEM120 that i also ordered from him.
  16. Ignore the untidy cabling off the pier. It will get sorted however cleaning the block paving drive is more important-APPARENTLY.
  17. Thanks. One day I aspire to get somewhere near what you achieve with your imaging.
