  2. Hi I am a new member and have been looking at the moon can anyone recommend a website or book which gives detailed names of the creator’s & mountain on the moon. I have found a mountain I think on the edge of the sea of tranquillity would like to find out its name if it has one? Thank you for any help you can give Andy
  3. Hi Thank you for the advice I get those eyepieces and see how I get on have found out that the scope is not the greats going and should be avoided but it was a xmas present. I have got some good views of the moon always wanted a scope and enjoying using it seen thing that i have always wanted too looking forward to seeing saturn and mars Thanks again for the advice

Hi I am a new member just starting out I have a jessops TA900-114EQ scope got it for xmas what would be a better eyepiece to just instead of the one that came with it I have a 6mm 12.5mm & 20mm plus a 3x Barlow its a1.25 fixing have seen jupiter could jhaveust make out the clouds formation on it but not very clear have read it might help having better eyepieces what can you advise please thank you

      Set up a thread, include price range. Jupiter performs well for me around 140x to 160x.

      its a 1.25 fittment the lenses that came with it are 6mm 12.5mm 20mm

      stmpy - ask questions on the main board, not through a status update - you'll get lots of answers that way :)
