  8. The more I use my 127mak, the more I prefer it to my C8.

      With my 12" the scope once collapsed was very manageable, it's the base that's big actually. With the 14", it's probably a similar story with the tube, but the difference you can take the yet bigger base apart and put it back together in no time. So, haven't made up my mind completely...still subject to my observing position and finances.

      It doesn't really - However, my town's skies are pretty good, it's just the silly thing called street light.

      I wouldn't worry about it as far as Teleskop Service are concerned...I bought 2 scopes and many accessories from them, never had a problem.

  24. Just 'flocked' my house with grey wool army surplus blankets! Massive difference to my viewing area (patio) without my family having to watch Eastenders in the dark .
