  2. Hi guys. Old-timer back after some years inactive. I'm planning on upgrading the finder scopes on my 200p flextube, and was looking through the options, and I decided to go with the telrad and a 8x50 finder scope with the 90 degree angle. The store lists two version at the same price, one with the keyword "erect" in it. What would be the difference between the two? I have searched a little and found nothing of value.     Just a trial run of my new Nikon D800. 14 lights, 30 seconds each at ISO 3200. 50mm 1.4 lens stopped down to F/4. NEQ-6 mount.

      Yeah I'm testing a timer remote. I think I'm getting slightly eggy stars unguided at 90 sec, but I'll finish up this try at M101 first. So this is more a test run at longer subs before my coma corrector gets shipped.

    New vesrion stacked in Maxim DL. Double cluster in Perseus. 39x30sec lights. 16 flats. 40 bias. 1 dark (was tired so pushed single exposure instead of using the cameras interal interval timer).

    Not comparable to other members shots of this little comet. Still nice to have seen/snapped a few shots of it. 1 sub, 30sec, iso1600, Nikon D5100. 6" newton F/5.
