  1. I have made a GIF animation of the popular framing of Western Veil and Pickering's Triangle. The animation is a transition between the HOO and SHO versions. The GIF was created at ezgif.com and contains 20 frames. Captured with APT, stacked with CCDStack, color combined in PS. Imaging telescope / lens: Lacerta Apochromatic 72/432 mm Quadruplet Flatfield Imaging camera: QHYCCD QHY9M Mount: Equatorial Sky-Watcher NEQ6 Pro SyncScan Lights (filter H-alpha): 15 x 900 sec Lights (filter OIII): 12 x 900 sec Lights (filter SII): 7 x 900 sec Binning 2x2 https://dso-browser.com/picture/view/20261/by-venzibo The HOO and SHO versions: https://dso-browser.com/picture/view/19424/deep_sky/NGC/6960/supernova-remnant/by-venzibo https://dso-browser.com/picture/view/20096/deep_sky/NGC/6960/supernova-remnant/by-venzibo
  2. I also think that CCD47 being a reducer will not make a change. I'm asking about it because I'm considering buying it and want to know what to expect...
  3. The stars in the corners don't look quite ok to me... I have GSO 8" RC and QHY9 and there are also some issues in the corners but not that much. Did you try the CCD47 reducer?
  4. Martin, did the modification turn out to be an easy one? I will have to do exactly the same with my SW 200P... Could you post a scan or smth from this "how to" from Sky at Night Magazine (I'm not sure if we have it here in Bulgaria)?
