I tried a few Hyperions about 8-9 years ago and they were decent enough in an F10 scope but not as good any of my TeleVues. I was less than happy with them in an F6 scope though. Alan

Yes 40c is hot but the air is very dry here so not that bad just have to watch burning if you are out, too hot to work in though for me. I've been in hotter in the Middle East, 50c in UAE. You tend to get the same here with cold, I've had minus 26c here with very low humidity and been out in a T shirt for a short time, however if you get a wind your arms would probably drop off Wasn't a cloud in the sky most of the day yesterday but it spoilt itself again. If it is an consolation I have not fared much better down here. May I had one clear night, the night of the full Moon. June was a massive 3 again clear for Full Moon. July wasn't too bad but with temperature of 40c the nights were very turbulent and rather hazy. Though August has cooled down a lot there is a lot of patchy cloud around. This would be OK for visual but I like it clear to use the cameras. That's not to say the sky hasn't cleared in the early morning but I am long past getting up at 2 am. Hope things get better for you all. Alan

Many mile away things are not much better, May score 1 clear night when in the past I have had 28, then that 1 was on the full Moon. June was better but hazy and July has been about normal but very hot with a lot of air turbulence caused by 40c temperatures, which are about normal for this time of year, maybe one or two degrees hotter than usual but nothing to worry me. You can buy focal reducers, I have two of them for my 115mm APO. One is a .79 focal reducer and the other is a 0.6, I think. I say I think because I tried it and it needs shims to get the corners sharp, so it doesn't work straight out the box on my scope which it should. I don't happen to have any shims. I probably should have returned it to FLO but as I live abroad I just couldn't be bothered so it's on the shelf. I am not sure how they would work with your scope but FLO are knowledgeable bunch and I am sure could advise you as to the best choice, just because I have one that don't work well first time, it doesn't mean it won't for you. That's a superb image it's low down here and I am 11 degrees better off than you. It is a target I want to get on to but weather has been very poor since April, it was clear last night but look where the Moon is. Alan

Best I have seen on that one, really superb detail for a galaxy that doesn't appear quite like M32 Alan
