hoping for some nice weather this weekend to get the scope out and try to nab my 1st view of another galaxy...fingers crossed

going out with 2 mates tonight to view the meteor shower! as the next 2 days are due for cloud :( taking scope for 1st outing!!! should be an amazing night! looking forward to seeing jupiter and venus also for 1st time :D

Did anyone else see a small black dot over Jupiter this morning; about 10 o'clock-ish on the edge of the surface? I don't think it was my EPs for I went through the 5,6,7mm and each showed the same thing.

time to pop the scope outside to cool down for a few hours! cant wait to test my new meade eye piece :D

Some one just looked through me window trespassing me garden and then shot stone at me window phoned police shame me cam never captured them need to move it other side

not been up this late for a while!! stellarium are showing these planets are visible right now!!... neptune, pallas, uranus, pluto, venus and jupiter! vesta and ceres, would i be able to see these tho?

This weather uk suks was windy gale force about half hour ago so took gazebo side panels off now it's like sunny time to do some solar viewing
