Wooow! My new skyhawk 1145P has come after just 2 days(thanks first light optics)....now I just have to wait until Christmas to open it!!! :-/

Tonight I had a satellite pass through my field of view whilst getting my first look at the Andromeda galaxy :)

note to self ..... charge the camera battery BEFORE going out on a frost night!! IDIOT!!

just unpacked my hilux recoated mirror and its scratched to hell,far worse than when i sent it off.to say im unhappy is a total understatement as its cost me alot of money and a 220 mile drive to pick them up.

Just spotted M42 for the first time, took my breath away. Makes you realise how small we are in the whole universe

Spotted M42 this week, which took my breath away and managed to get my second attempt at capturing the moon with my point and shoot... Looking at the sky on a clear night makes you wonder...
