  1. I've combined two shots using the modded pst. The proms are a bit over exposed but I wanted to show the activity just over the horizon from the big new spot that is now appearing
  2. The same area taken through an ED100 with a white light filter and then with the modded end of a pst attached. I used an imaging source mono camera
  3. That’s brilliant Luke. Intrigued with that. Trevor
  4. Thanks Neil. I always value your opinion. I feel like I’m getting somewhere now 👍
  5. Always seem drawn to this area. taken a few nights back with a C9.25 and 178mono. Lucky enough to have some good seeing. Trevor
  6. Thanks Neil. Certainly looking forward to the next lunation with a high moon. Lets all hope the weather plays ball again !! Trevor
  7. Thanks Den . Appreciate that. Trevor
  8. Thanks very much for the comment. Trevor
  9. Thanks Nick. Appreciate the comment. Trevor
  10. Thanks Mike. The first real chance to try out the C9.25. At least I know the scope can do it in the future and lesser quality is me or the seeing or both !!
  11. Thanks Pete. If the conditions are right is does seem a capable bit of kit. Trevor
  12. That’s a great image Mike. Lots of fine detail throughout 👍
  13. Thanks Mike. I will give the reducer a go and see what happens. Appreciate the help. Trevor 👍
  14. That’s a very good shot Martyn. You’ve beaten me to a mineral moon. Well done 👍
  15. More time to process some images and hopefully get better results. All taken a few days back with a 180 Mak at Prime focus using a 178 mono
  16. Lots of detail there Neil. Like Martyn, I have never tried a colour shot of the moon but it’s definitely one for the future 👍
  17. Thanks for the comment Martyn. Imaging often doesn’t work out how I intend but it’s nice the few times it does 😁
  18. Thanks very much Neil. It’s the first time I’ve had very good seeing with the C9.25 since I brought it. It does make all the difference 👍
  19. Nice images Pete. The Gassendi one is full of detail. I’m still struggling with when to use a Barlow. The seeing seems to vary so much in a short time.
  20. Taken a few nights back through a C9.25 with 178 mono camera. Taken at prime focus with no barlow used
  21. Thanks Neil. Again, really appreciate the help and advice. Trevor
  22. Thanks Martyn. I used an IR685 filter. It certainly improves the seeing. Trevor
  23. Thanks Michael, I have loads of pictures of this area and always seem to go back to it.
  24. Taken a few nights back during some good seeing. I used a 178mono at prime focus on a C9.25. I've over exposed a couple of bits but its more detail than I've ever achieved in this area so I'm happy. My complete thanks to Neil P for his advice and guidance during processing. I've used various programs in the past but had little understanding of what I was doing. He certainly has a wealth of knowledge and experience but anyone would be aware of that if they have looked closely at the images he submits. All I have to do is remember what I did this time during processing and that will be a challenge in itself !!!!!
