  1. Thanks Neil. Appreciate the comment. The seeing was certainly “iffy” and I agree, it’s a great area to image.
  2. Loads of files to wade through from last night. Seeing was very variable but it will keep me amused for a while ! This is a stitch of the first two AVI files using a 180 Mak and ASI 178. I've imaged this area many times before but always come back for another go
  3. Thanks Steve. I used three video files processed and then stitched together.
  4. As usual, a cracking image Neil. You certainly put time and energy into getting things right 👍
  5. That's a nice image. Lots of fine detail.
  6. Thanks. I'm always tempted to overdue the processing, particularly sharpening I think.
  7. Thanks Bradley. The seeing does makes all the difference.
  8. Some of the files seem better than I thought. I've over cooked some of the highlights but I was pleased with the detail. I always struggle with high contrast areas. ED120 with x2 barlow and ASI 120mm last night.
  9. Thanks. It is a nice area to catch at sunrise / sunset
  10. I think I missed the best seeing last night and didn't set up until about 10 o'clock as the moon was getting lower. It was also cooling rapidly so thought I would plum for a refractor. I don't think the 180 mak would have cooled down. Taken at prime focus on an ED120 with an ASI 120 mm. Three panes stitched together.
  11. That’s a cracking picture. Very detailed.
  12. Looks very detailed to me Neil. Interested to see what you can get with the 10”. Seeing Petes C9.25 image I’m tempted to buy one of these sheets !!!! . Always something else to try😬
  13. Taken yesterday through a modded pst on an ED100. Camera was a 618 imaging source. One day I'll tackle a whole disc !!
  14. That’s very good. I’m really impressed with the detail and smoothness of the video 👍👍
  15. Thanks very much for the info. I will move the various elements around as you suggest and see what happens
  16. Great images there Neil. Lots of fine granulation. I often wonder like Pete if I should add colour or not. Interesting point. I think I prefer the mono. Trevor
  17. Lovely images Pete. Can’t think of a better way to spend a work break ! I find the seeing really takes its toll on the HA shots as well.
  18. ThanksPete. I always find it interesting to compare the views. Trevor
  19. Thanks for the comment. I should really take flats as well to even the field up a bit. One for the future !
  20. Lots going on at present ! The images are through an ED100 with and without a PST mod. I used a ASI 120MM and imaging source 618. For some reason the ASI produces interference patterns a bit like Newtons rings when I use the mod with a ERF filter over the objective. Haven't a clue why but someone may explain ?
