Hi GlassWalker, That green can be fairly quickly toned down by making a group of elliptical selections fairly tight to each ISS image, feathering the edges and then using Photoshop's Hue/Saturation tool. A fairly tight green selection, avoiding the yellow, can be desaturated and even darkened a tad. Not sure why the green was there in the first place but I can also see it along the right hand edge of the disk. Bob.
  2. Hi GlassWalker, Looks like the new mount is going to be a success. Was this just "lights" or have you already had a chance to grab some 8m darks? My own experience with banding (induced by the CCD's RBI flood infra-red LEDs) is that with enough (15 in my case) high quality darks the processing can go deeper. Difficult to achieve with a sensor that isn't temperature controlled, of course! Good to see you putting that OIII filter to work. The window between sunset and moonrise is still too narrow for me to do any deep sky imaging. :( Bob.
