  1. Atik Titan mono CCD. Due to clearing out and upgrading I am selling my Atik Titan mono CCD. This CCD camera is ideally suited to deep sky photography but also has a high speed mode of 15 frames/sec at 16 bit for planetary and solar system imaging. It does not come with the original box, but it does have the original certificate, manual and CD. As well as both a USB and power lead. Would ideally suit someone starting out in the world of mono imaging. These retail currently at £581, so way less than half price. Prefer local collection but will not rule out UK postage at buyers ri
  2. I do Steve, drop me a PM if you are interested. cheers Soupy
  3. Solid Metal Pier and Fork Mount. This unit was installed in a home observatory until a few years ago. It was my intention to reinstall it into a new setting but I never got round to it. It is now time to let it go to someone who can do something with it. This is an incredibly heavy pier and fork mount with wedge built in. Perfectly suited to Astroimaging. It has motors for driving the mount and I will throw in a Celestron handset. The last time this was installed it was all working but it will need someone who is quite proficient in electrics to get this installed and working to its full p

  5. Aye Chris, I must admit I am still a bit reticent about it all, but all good things must come to an end, and it's the right time to move them onto someone else who will enjoy them. Hopefully the sale goes through OK as they are being viewed on Friday.
  6. Sorry chaps, been so sad to put this on I forgot the price. All resolved now!
  7. Based on twin Helios 6" 150mm Parabolic Newtonian Reflector Telescopes and badged 'Terrascan'. 1.25" Eyepiece Fitting, Right Angle, With Altaz Mount. This is a pair of 150MM Terrascan Binoculars made by Peter Drew. They are six inch Reflector binoculars which Peter made to order at The Astronomy Centre, Todmorden. The binoculars take standard 1.25" eyepieces and come with a pair of each 4mm, 10mm and 20mm plossl EPs as well as a pair of 2x barlow lenses. The eyepieces rotate for easy observing and are fully adjustable. It comes with an altazimuth mount also made by Peter. These perform extreme
  8. some images of the 12" for those enquiring minds.
  9. no problem Wormix, I'm struggling to find a box that might keep it safe in transit at the minute anyway.
  10. Sploo, I used to use one of the ST80s for a guide scope on my 200pds, so makes perfect sense. I live near jnt41 of the M1.
  11. yeah I'm sure i could find a box for it, not sure on price though.
  12. Having a clear out of some OTA's etc. I don't use. drop me a line if any interest you. I am having a good clear out as looking to upgrade on my equipment. I have had this stuff for a while as I was looking into an big observatory project, but unfortunately not to be, so have now decided to sell these. The OTA's were originally bought for mirror sets, so they do not come with mounts and there are a few dents and scratches on the tubes but apart from a need of a clean the mirrors are in reasonably good nick. (Edit, the Orion does have a small scratch) I will try to post some pics as soon as
  13. Cheers Damian. Aye Messier never had the highways agency to deal with so no excuse! Lol
  14. Yes John, I've browsed the moon a few times in passing and at outreach events, but always viewed it as a hindrance due to imaging. However just having a visual night it certainly stole the show!
  15. We were at the visitors car park Alan, it's a lovely area through the day and dark as a cave at night so usually very good. Shame they decided to upgrade the roads on the only clear night we have had for ages!
