  1. Hi Guys, I hope there is someone out there that could help before I start spending money on items that don't help at all. I’m taking stock of what I’ve purchased over the last 4 weeks and wondering if I have all I need or if there is anything missing for my re-affirmed astrophotography venture. Not sure if the Canon EOS 1200D will be any good. I’m still looking for a Canon EOS T3i/600D just in case. What I would like to be able to do is photograph the planets, nebular and other deep sky objects. I currently cannot afford a CCD camera hence why I bought a Canon EOS 1200D. In terms of connecting the camera to the telescope and taking pictures of the night sky (example: Milky Way), I understand I can do the following: Connect using the 2” adaptor and the T2 ring Connect using the T2 ring and x2 barlow lens Mount the camera onto the scope for tracking and use a decent lens and filter (which lens and filters are recommended and what camera settings are recommended?) In all three cases above, the camera is not picking up anything in the lens or not focusing on any object at all (Sky-Watcher Explorer 130P). I know on this telescope the collimation on the main lens is correct, but now too sure on the secondary lens. The camera seems to just take pictures/see the secondary lens. Is there a way to connect the camera lens to the telescope? Does that work or help at all? I have the following setup what am I missing or need?: Canon EOS 1200D Camera (Stock) Canon T2 Ring Astronomik CLS Filter (Clip Filter for Canon EOS APS-C) Sky-Watcher Explorer 150P-DS OTA (Not arrived yet. So currently using my Sky-Watcher Explorer 130P Telescope on the EQM-35 PRO) Sky-Watcher Explorer 130P SynScan AZ GOTO (Old setup – Using scope on new EQ mount below) Sky-Watcher EQM-35 PRO Go-To Modular Astronomy Mount (New mount) Astro Essentials M48 Camera Adapter (Canon EOS) Sky-Watcher Star Adventurer Dovetail L-Bracket 365Astronomy No 553 Lunar & Planetary Filter Set - 1.25-inch
